Job description
We are seeking a Title Attorney to join our team and work directly with project leadership. As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled legal professional who can operate independently while collaborating effectively in a team-driven environment.
 
In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting in-depth mineral and title research that supports our clients’ drilling operations, lease negotiations, and payout processes. You’ll play a key role in delivering the legal insights and documentation our clients need to make confident, informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with project directors to define and execute project objectives
  • Conduct thorough research of county records to verify surface and mineral ownership, using both online databases and on-site courthouse visits
  • Review, analyze, and synthesize research findings into clear, accurate reports for client submission
  • Manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team and client objectives

Mandatory Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in title and mineral research, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Experience working with Adobe Acrobat
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
