About the Team
Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. As the Anti-fraud product manager, you will be responsible for building, improving, and monitoring business processes that detect and prevent fraudulent activities in various scenarios including but not limited to transactions, Know-Your-Customer/Client, after-sales and seller-buyer-creator interactions.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Domain Ownership: Lead the strategic roadmap for buyer risk domain. Design and implement systemic defense frameworks—including risk engine integration, feature logic, and decision pathways— to protect sellers against buyer risks such as malicious return/refund and chargeback behaviors, buyer-seller collusion, malicious reviews and spam activities
- AI & Agent Orchestration: Drive the transformation of risk operations through AI. Design agent and skills orchestration, defining multi-agent workflows with auditable reasoning, escalation logic, and confidence thresholds. Translate complex risk judgment criteria into LLM prompts to automate decision-making and replace manual processes with scalable AI-driven solutions.
- AI Quality & Integrity Frameworks: Establish comprehensive AI quality evaluation frameworks and design cross-product integrity workflows to ensure robust, safe, and highly accurate AI deployments.
- Advanced Data Attribution: Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) on strategy performance and model health. Interpret feature distributions and data trends to identify drifts, and autonomously adjust thresholds to balance risk levels with business growth.
- Global Scalability & Implementation: Translate complex risk logic into standardized global playbooks and quality benchmarks (QA) to ensure consistent defense performance across all localized markets.
- Technical Bridge & Execution: Translate complex risk requirements into scalable product roadmaps and technical specifications, driving cross-functional execution across Data, Algorithm, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification(s):
- 3+ years of experience in Risk Management, Trust & Safety, or Anti-fraud within major technology ecosystems. Proven success in navigating high-concurrency adversarial attacks.
- Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to autonomously extract insights and risk signals from large-scale, complex datasets.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles, specifically in designing high-impact features and evaluating model performance (e.g., Precision, Recall, AUC) to optimize risk-reward trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM applications, including Prompt Engineering and the orchestration of AI agents to solve operational challenges.
- Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams, including Business, Data, Engineering, and Operations.
- A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. Comfortable making high-stakes, data-backed decisions in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- Familiarity with e-Commerce aftersales, returns/refunds and chargeback flows
- Experience operating in global markets (US, LATAM, EU or APAC)
- Understanding of legal/regulatory constraints in consumer protection, refunds, and dispute resolution
