As a member of Enterprise Risk Management, the Third Party Risk Management Coordinator plays an important role helping to manage the relationship between the Company and its vendors in accordance with the Company’s vendor management program and regulatory guidance. This position is essential for maintaining compliance, improving operational efficiency, and providing appropriate risk oversight to vendors, contractors, and other third-party service providers.This role requires a combination of analytical, communication, and organizational skills to be successful.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Ensure vendors, contractors, and other third-party providers are properly vetted prior to on-boarding.
  • Ensure vendors are properly risk-assessed and requirements for due diligence and continuous vendor monitoring are satisfied.
  • Review vendor-submitted artifacts in a timely manner.
  • Communicate completion of artifact reviews and clearly note any findings.
  • Work closely with contract owners and vendor relationship managers across all lines of business.
  • Work closely with the Vendor Management department to review policy and procedures and to identify program improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain artifact reviews and supporting documentation in Archer GRC software to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Document relevant open issues in LogicManager system.
  • Act as a resource for associates seeking clarification on vendor reviews, requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of awareness and compliance within the organization.
  • Provide data-driven analysis of artifact reviews and issues.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

  • Excellent written/oral communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of Archer GRC software
  • Strong understanding of vendor management practices and vendor management compliance within a complex, regulatory environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Level of Complexity and Scope

  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems, referring the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Degree of Independence and Decision-Making

  • Performs work under general supervision receiving minimal guidance.
  • Will use subject matter expertise to guide and advise others as necessary.

  • None.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently sits, stands, and is able to navigate a typical office environment.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs.

Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Development and Training

Pay Range:

$55,000/year to $71,000/year
