What You’ll Drive

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Thai language, Thai history, culture and religion in accordance with curriculum standards.
  • Foster students’ critical thinking, language proficiency, and appreciation for Thai heritage through diverse instructional methods.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of students.
  • Develop and refine the Thai Studies curriculum to ensure relevance and academic rigor.
  • Design formative and summative assessments to measure student learning and progress.
  • Prepare and submit assessment reports and student progress evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Head of Thai Studies and the academic team to align the Thai Studies program with the school’s overall curriculum.
  • Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide input on school events and activities related to Thai language and culture.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education (Thai major), Arts (Thai Language), Social Studies, History, Sociology, Thai Studies, or a related field.
  • Teaching license from Kurusapa (temporary or permanent) preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for education and fostering cultural appreciation in students.
  • Familiarity with international school settings or bilingual education.
  • Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into lessons.
