  • Development of new technical textile materials for conveyor belts (Polyester, Aramide, Polyamide, etc. constructions)
  • Development of fabric-reinforced rubber technologies
  • Definition of technical specifications and requirements for worldwide locations
  • Support serial introduction of new materials, including smpling, lab testing/evaluation, manufacturing, product testing
  • Provide technical expertise, drive knowledge sharing, support in problem-solving
  • Representing central R&D by driving strategic development and ensuring consistent standards across all locations for the field of responsibility
  • Drive sustainability & innovation
  • Identify and implement optimization potentials in close cooperation with Purchasing, Platform Development, Product Development, Testing labs
  • Lead international, cross-functional projects
  • Academic degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
  • Experience in development of technical textiles (cords, yarns, fabrics)
  • Knowledge of reinforced rubber or plastics products (for example tires, transportation / transmission belts, coated fabrics, etc.) desirable
  • Knowledge in textiles testing methods
  • Strong analytical skills - problem solving, decision making, data classification, examination of correlations, etc.
  • Strong customer-oriented thinking, ownership, and collaboration skills
  • Sense of urgency in completing projects on time and effectively
  • Intercultural fluency
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
