About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a Test Automation Lead, preferably with experience in Hyperscale Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to design and develop Automated Test scripts and frameworks for state-of-the-art Cloud Native Cognitive applications working with Ericsson R&D Global Teams. Your role will include all Test activities related to developing cloud native products that are scalable, maintainable handling large data ingestion, data pipelines and visualizing to the end user, collaborating with backend, frontend, and domain experts. Our focus is ensuring the quality of simple, optimal, scalable software architecture using microservices on lean and agile ways of working. We are organized in cross-functional multi-domain development teams in which we foster continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

What you will do:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies covering integration, system, regression, performance, security, and UAT testing with maximum automation

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud-based applications within CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with Agile teams to create test plans, cases, and tools while ensuring quality standards

• Analyze test results, track defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders

• Provide technical leadership in test automation, code reviews, and QA best practices

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor team members on testing methodologies

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data protection standards

The skills you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience

• 6+ years in QA roles with 3+ years in test automation

• Expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, etc.)

• Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or C#) and scripting (JavaScript, Bash)

• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture

• ISTQB/CSTE certification and MLOps experience are strong pluses

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Agile methodology experience with strong collaboration abilities
