Job description

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. This role focuses on designing and implementing automated testing solutions for .NET-based SDKs, APIs, and user interfaces across internal and external-facing applications. You’ll work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality integrations and user experiences, while leveraging cloud technologies—preferably AWS—to scale and optimize testing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans for API, SDK, and UI testing based on technical requirements.
  • Define and automate test cases using appropriate validation techniques.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for .NET applications and services.
  • Select and prioritize tests suitable for automation, including integration and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Update test scenarios and scripts to reflect product design changes.
  • Execute validation tasks within defined timelines and report outcomes clearly.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and document defects and deviations.
  • Perform occasional code reviews and respond to feedback promptly.
  • Communicate test execution status and validation results effectively.
  • Follow up on defect tracking and assess severity independently.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize cloud platforms (preferably AWS) to manage test environments and scale automation infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • 1+ years of experience in test automation.
  • Experience testing .NET applications, SDKs, and APIs.
  • Familiarity with UI testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Basic knowledge of software development and testing life cycles.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and automation framework.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Intermediate debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for test environment setup and automation scaling.
  • Ability to prioritize work and escalate issues appropriately.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration in build processes.
  • Exposure to Agile or other modern development methodologies.
  • Passion for improving software quality through automation and innovation.
