Job Title: Terminal Manager, Transloading
Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay Rate/Range: $30 - $35 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:00
Benefits: paid time off, insurance (BCBS medical with Company-
paid deductible and co-pays, dental, disability, life), 13 paid
holidays, 401(k) with 6% company match after one year, Railroad

Job Summary: The person in this position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Specifically, manage and
assist in transferring bulk and liquid commodities between railcar and truck and administrative responsibilities.
This person oversees operations and administrative functions at the transload facility in Baltimore, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise transload technicians; administer discipline as needed
Coordinate truck and railcar deliveries
Transferring bulk and liquid hazmat commodities
Plan and manage the safe operations of external trucks while operating in the facility
Assist with transferring commodities between railcars and trucks, weighing trucks and other related
activities
Be responsible for terminal safety and compliance issues, including MOSH, FD, MDE and Department of
Agriculture requirements
Maintain standard operating procedures, emergency action plans and emergency response plans,
coordinating such with other managers
Professionally interface with customers and monitor the quality of service in accordance with the terms
of any applicable contractual arrangements
Oversee maintenance of all equipment necessary to operate the facility
Be responsible for general housekeeping and maintenance of the facility
Be responsible for all administrative and clerical functions
Assist with other projects and perform other duties as assigned
Subject to random drug testing – zero-tolerance environment
Qualifications:
Hazmat and HAZWOPER training
Ability to operate forklifts
Knowledge of railcar inspection procedures
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
Prior transload experience is preferred, but not necessary
Mechanical aptitude helpful, but not required
GED, high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
Valid driver's license
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Additional hours, weekends, and
after hours may be required.
