Job Duties:

While there may not be an immediate need for administrative support, UW-Stout accepts applications regardless, in order to create a pool for when there may be a need.  Upon successful submission of your application, you will be considered for future part-time administrative support opportunities, and your application will be on file as a potential candidate who could possibly fill a position if or when the need arises. Employment will require a criminal background check. It will also require you to supply three (3) professional references/one (1) of which being a current or former supervisor. (Preference to supply five (5) professional references/two (2) of which being a current or former supervisors.) Your references will be required to answer questions regarding misconduct, sexual violence and sexual harassment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Tracks, stocks, orders, and inventories office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available for workplace operation
  • Serves as first point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
  • Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
