Job Description

Looking to make your own schedule, work when you’d like to work? Lightwave Dental has the perfect position for you!

Fill in/Part time Registered Dental Hygienist needed for the Richmond, VA area. In this role you would practice at multiple offices of your choosing. Excellent pay (approx. $60-65/hour), flexible hours, work on your own schedule! 

Responsibilities

• Taking digital radiographs
• Charting of existing conditions and proposed treatment
• Periodontal charting
• Routine prophylaxis, fluoride application, placing sealants, soft tissue management, scaling and root planning
• Present proposed treatment with insurance coverage and patient co-pays, as well as keeping accurate notes

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist and BLS/CPR certification
• Experience taking digital x-rays & intraoral photos (using NOMAD/iTERO/etc.)
• Knowledgeable of ADA codes
• Maintains annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law

Salary Range

$60-$65 per hour
