In this role, you’re more than a switchboard operator—you’re a critical connection point for the entire hospital. 

As a Communications Operator, you help keep patients, visitors, staff, and emergency response teams connected 24/7. From answering incoming calls and paging announcements to responding to emergency alarms and urgent situations, your calm, professional presence helps keep hospital operations running safely and smoothly.

💼 What You’ll Do 

  • Answer and route incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and care  

  • Monitor and respond to emergency alarms and hospital codes  

  • Utilize overhead paging for hospital communication needs  

  • Support staff, patients, and visitors during emergency situations  

  • Operate switchboard and communication equipment efficiently  

  • Maintain pager systems and coordinate urgent communications  

  • Help ensure a safe and organized environment for staff and visitors

  • PBX, call center, or healthcare communication experience is a plus!  

📋 Minimum Requirement 

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)  

  • Previous customer service, PBX, or call center experience preferred
