Telecom Engineer

Pesco Telecom is a leading provider of data services with a nationwide coverage. It provides corporate Wide Area Network (WAN) connections, corporate Internet connections with ISPs as well as residential Internet services over its wireless network and ADSL network.

• Maintaining network by performing network monitoring and analysis.
• Evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency.
• Installing, configuring and testing equipment.
• Performing tuning and troubleshooting network problems.
• Assisting in sites provisioning (installing racks, cabling(copper, fiber…), setting up power)
• Configuring VMware ESXi host configuration (includes: startup profile, storage configuration, network connections and security settings)
• Defining network policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in telecom engineering, communication engineering, or related technical discipline with 0-2 years of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and solve technical problems independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development for web-based applications is a plus.
