AIX Server engineer, Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts. Specialist in IBM Power 9 systems, with AIX operating System 6-7 .
Requirements / Qualifications : Expert in AIX skills,
- Design and Build New clusters
- AIX OS Migration from AIX 5.3/6.1 to AIX 7.1/7.2 & IBM Power Systems technology refresh from POWER4/5/6 to POWER7/8/9 systems RHEL Operating System
- Migrate legacy HACMP and Power HA versions from 5.4/5.5/6.1 to Power HA 7.1/7.2.
- Managing HMC (& managing via HMC-Command line), Virtual I/O servers (VIOS) and AIX LPARs in POWER8/9 systems.
- Deploying & maintaining Power virtualization(VIOS) and VMware virtualization.
- Redhat/Veritas Cluster skills
- Expertise in Scripting.
