Technician II, R&D

Work in the laboratory to fabricate prototypes for animal and bench testing and perform testing and documentation duties with direct and moderate supervision.

1. Fabricate prototypes, pilot units, verification units, and validation units
2. Record test results on standard forms and write test reports describing procedures used
3. Provide support for the development of new products
4. Interface with Assemblers to teach new procedures
5. Conduct tests to verify product integrity in the design phase
6. Recognize problems and take corrective action
7. Provide input into product design, testing, and processes
8. Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes
9. Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization
10. Perform additional duties as assigned
