Primary Purpose
Contributes to compliance programs for technical rules and standards by performing audits, maintaining control systems, and supporting risk assessments to strengthen adherence to technical rules and evolving regulatory obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Frequent, independent driving to meetings, company locations, field locations and/or active incidents sites while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws is essential to this position and cannot reasonably be accomplished via alternative transportation.
Contributes to compliance programs for technical rules and standards by performing audits, maintaining control systems, and supporting risk assessments to strengthen adherence to technical rules and evolving regulatory obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs compliance audits and spot checks for operational, safety, and security standards, documenting findings.
- Maintains internal control systems aligned with regulatory requirements for reliability and infrastructure protection.
- Supports incident response planning for compliance programs.
- Tracks compliance metrics and prepares summaries for management review.
- Coordinates with subject matter experts to resolve minor compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Prepares summaries of regulatory changes for internal distribution.
- Assists in developing mitigation plans for identified non-compliance issues.
- Participates in risk assessments for technical compliance programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
