As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze space and power management for colocations environments.
  • Review and thoroughly understand Google's network architecture standards.
  • Develop reporting and metrics related to data center infrastructure capacity planning.
  • Work closely with Google operations and engineering teams.
  • Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical path.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in data center infrastructure design.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a mechanical or electrical engineering role with data center.
  • Experience working on evaluating and designing data center infrastructure.
  • Experience in AutoCAD drafting.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting analytical, data-driven solutions to technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.
