Job Description:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud IoT Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud architectures for IoT products. This role involves integrating security at every level, ensuring compliance with security frameworks, and creating threat models to mitigate cloud-based risks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IoT-cloud ecosystems, cloud security, and IoT communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design secure cloud architectures for IoT deployments, ensuring scalability and security.
- Integrate security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, GDPR) into cloud designs.
- Define threat models and conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within IoT-cloud environments.
- Oversee secure data storage, processing, and communication between IoT devices and cloud platforms.
- Implement encryption protocols (data in transit and at rest) and secure identity and access management (IAM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of cloud services and IoT devices.
- Stay current on emerging IoT and cloud security threats, ensuring that the architecture evolves to meet these challenges.

Key Skills:
- Expertise in cloud-native IoT services (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
- Strong knowledge of IoT security protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and cloud security patterns.
- Experience with secure design of microservices and serverless architectures.
- Deep understanding of cloud-based IAM, encryption technologies, and API security.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR) and integrated threat modeling.
- Experience with DevSecOps and automated cloud security tools.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security, with at least 3 years focused on IoT products.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent are a plus.
