Technical Field Advisor & Assessment - Nuclear Steam Turbines M/F

We are seeking an experienced Technical Field Advisor & Assessment professional to support steam turbine inspections, maintenance outages, and equipment condition assessments at nuclear power plants worldwide.

As a senior technical expert, you will provide on-site advisory support, evaluate the condition and integrity of critical turbine components, perform reliability assessments, and develop recommendations that enhance plant safety, performance, and long-term asset reliability.

ROLE:

• Lead and support steam turbine inspections and outage activities.
• Perform technical assessments of rotors, blades, diaphragms, casings, bearings, valves, and auxiliary systems.
• Conduct condition evaluations, reliability assessments, and remaining life reviews.
• Analyze inspection findings and identify degradation mechanisms and operational risks.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action development.
• Prepare technical reports and present recommendations to customer engineering and maintenance teams.
• Identify modernization, life extension, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in steam turbine engineering, field services, maintenance, or equipment assessment.
• Strong knowledge of steam turbine technology and outage execution.
• Experience within the nuclear power generation industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with condition assessment methodologies, reliability engineering, and technical diagnostics.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and support outage schedules.
• Fluent in both German and English languages.
