The appointee must have good interpersonal skills, willing to learn on
the job and be a team player. He/she must undertake duties that support the smooth functioning of the School and School’s labs, provide support to academic staff in teaching as well as supervising students in their project works whilst ensuring safety regulations are followed.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

  • Provided technical assistance and support for lab with regards to ARVR Projects and other labs in the AeroHub and support consultancy projects.
  • Ensure Staff and students adhere to safety procedures, and have proper attire.
  • Support/Assist/Conduct lab experiments for both PET and CET courses.
  • Ensure that equipment and machines are in working order safe for operations.
  • Planning and Ordering of raw materials if required for Lab/FYP use.
  • Contact Estates for related service request pertaining to lab facilities
  • Attend to asset management activities. i.e write off, asset verification, storage.
  • Planning for machine and equipment maintenance.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
  • 2-3 years hands-on experiences working in the Mechanical Engineering Environment.
  • Experiences in Programming, Unity, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, app and website development.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
