More about the role


We are looking for a Technical Designer Intern to join our S&S team in Madrid.

 

As a Technical Designer Intern you’ll be responsible for contributing to the shaping of the future of services in lighting by achieving sustainable growth of the lighting service business!

 

Your team

You will be part of the S&S Services Europe team with location in Madrid. The team takes the responsibility to design systems and services proposals, execute them and hand over to the markets for lifecycle activities. As part of the team you will plays a fundamental role in executing accurate and reliable calculations, engaging with both the Business Services and the Markets in Europe.

What you’ll do

  • Support the technical team in pilots and project commissioning.
  • Enable execution of the system and services propositions.
  • Clarify & manage requirements towards Customer Satisfaction teams.
  • Understand market trends & customer needs for systems & services.
  • Support the markets in articulating the benefits and concept of the advanced system & services offerings.
  • Support the Design department with calculations.

 

Your qualifications

  • Currently pursuing studies in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Electrical, Business or any related field during the 2026–2027 academic year.
  • Fluency in English & Spanish.
  • Very good domain of Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills .
  • Proactive, accountable, and results-oriented.
  • Team player who thrives in a multicultural environment.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to understand requirements and service policies.
