Job description
Responsibilities:
- Working in collaboration with both engineers and artists to assist, enhance and streamline asset production
- Creating tools for asset management within the engine
- Creating new shaders and updating existing ones
- Optimization of assets, shaders, and pipelines according to the provided hardware specifications
- Bug fixing and troubleshooting technical issues
- Contributing to the team-oriented environment
- Preparing documentation for pipelines and tools
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Artist in gamedev
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5
- Excellent understanding of Blueprints and Editor Utility Widgets
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, C#, C++)
- Experience in writing shaders, e.g. UE4/UE5 Materials system, HLSL, GLSL, etc.
- Art tools production experience
- Self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills and team-player attitude
- English level: intermediate or higher
