THE JOB:

Join the dynamic MassMutual Center team as a Tech Utility Lead, where you'll play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences by setting executing event set ups, cleaning and facility changeovers.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.50 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Set chairs, bleachers, carpeting, portable flooring, hockey dasher, ice making, etc. as directed

• Maintain the highest standards to ensure the quality and cleanliness in the arena, convention spaces, public areas, offices, and other areas

• Recognize equipment that needs repairs, adjustments, or replacement, maintain equipment

• Oversee Tech Utility during changeovers and cleaning when supervisors are unavailable

• Take initiative to get tasks completed in a timely manner

• Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ Years of prior relevant Tech Utility experience (required)

• Able and willing to work variable shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Scheduling is based on events held on property

• Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet area, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently (required)

• Excellent customer service skills, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with business contacts (required)

• Ability to read AutoCAD, & Amadues floorplans (preferred)

• Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences

• Can handle multiple tasks at one time

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$18.50

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

 

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
