A residential treatment program in Cedar City, Utah is seeking resilient, high-ownership individuals who want to do meaningful and challenging work with adolescents who have experienced significant trauma.

Team Lead – Full-Time

Position Overview

Havenwood Academy is seeking a gritty Team Lead to join our organization. As a Team Lead, you will supervise a group of 3-7 staff members to support adolescent girls with significant trauma backgrounds, ensuring their safety, stability, and well-being. This role is demanding and rewarding for those who are committed to making a lasting impact.

A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Team Lead includes:

  • Leading daily activities and supervising student interactions.
  • Maintaining the schedule, boundaries, and therapeutic protocols as prescribed by the treatment team.
  • Coaching staff members to ensure consistency in care and interventions.
  • Responding to crisis with de-escalation techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Teaching guests positive coping mechanisms and reinforcing program expectations.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and incidents.
  • Upholding all safety protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Supervising and participating in the cleaning and maintenance of your assigned house.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Ability to pass a background check & TB test.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Experience in similar environments that share the characteristics of: volatility, uncertainty, chaos, and ambiguity is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Rate: $24.00 per hour. (Orientation period first 30 days at 21.00 per hour)
  • Performance-Based Raises: Bi annual reviews up to 3%
  • On-Call Bonus: $100 per week for participation in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Schedule:
We are currently looking for a Team Lead for Swing 1 and Swing 2.
Swing 1:
M,Tue, Every other wed: 3:15p-11:15p and Sat 8:30a-11p

Swing 2:
Every other Wed, Thurs, and Fri 3:15p-11:15p. And Sun 8:30a-11p
