Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity 

Our growing Building Specialist Services Group is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Administrator to join our Christchurch office and support our specialist staff. This is a diverse role which will enable you to contribute to team goals by providing day-to-day administrative support to our Digital and Building Technology Team and our Aquatic Services Team 
 

This role is full of variety, and you will assist with a range of activities including: 

  • Team coordination and administration 

  • Administrative tasks for commercial, financial, and project-related work 

  • Preparation of bids and proposals

  • Coordination of events, meetings and office spaces

  • Onboarding of new starters, and general people support 

  • Organisation and logistics for regional and international travel 

  • ⁠Preparation of marketing and communication collateral  

  • Administration of documents, systems, and digital workspaces
     

You'll join a collaborative national network of administrators, provide support to other Building Specialist Services teams as required, and work alongside passionate specialist staff. If you are a proactive self-starter, this role could provide ongoing growth and potentially lead to new opportunities within the Beca group. 

 

The Buildings Specialist Services group includes six services: Digital and Building Technology, Specialist Aquatic Services, Fire Engineering, Sustainable Buildings, Asset Management, and Specialist Lighting. The teams offer diverse expertise which enables us to provide advice on varied building-related works, ranging from future-ready low carbon/low energy solutions to criticalregulatory fire engineering and sustainability advice. Our passion, insight, and diverse experience enable us to understand our clients' unique challenges, deliver technical and innovative solutions, and contribute to meaningful change.

You are a proactive and organised Administrator eager to make a positive impact. You can adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and anticipate team needs. You are eager to learn, and you work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, you're comfortable working with numbers, and you have some financial and/or commercial acumen to support the team with project specific administration.  
 

This role requires experience with project administration, along with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) and SharePoint proficiency. Experience with proposal preparation, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion, invoicing, and travel booking is desirable but not essential.
