JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Teacher, Early Childhood Education  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 60 semester units from a regionally accredited Institution of Higher Education (must include 3 units of college level reading and composition) 

• Hold a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit granted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing  

• 3 units of Child Development coursework: Infant and Toddler Development 

• Adult, Child and Pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED Certification (Online courses do not qualify) 

• Human Resources Early Childhood Education Interview

1. University and/or Community/Junior College transcripts
2. Copy of Child Development Permit
3. Copy of Adult, Child and Pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED Certification 
4. Resume
5. Cover Letter

• Provide contact information for professional references, including current or most recent school-based or child-centered employment.
• Applicants may be contacted by Human Resources (HR) with requests for outstanding documents or information. 
• Successful completion of the HR Early Childhood Education Interview.
• Applicants who are deemed ELIGIBLE by HR will be contacted with onboarding instructions.
