  • Assist with trust and estate taxation and related planning matters.
  • Maintain accurate client records, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage assigned engagements and deadlines, particularly during peak tax filing periods.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through responsive, professional communication.
  • Assist with accounting, bookkeeping, and other advisory services as needed.
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, financial planning strategies, and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Active CPA license required.
  • 1–3+ years of public accounting, tax, or closely related experience.
  • Hands-on experience preparing individual and business income tax returns.
  • Familiarity with partnership, trust, and estate taxation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interest in developing expertise in tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, financial planning, and wealth management.
  • Desire to grow beyond tax preparation into a broader client advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines during busy tax seasons.
  • Willingness to work additional hours during peak filing periods.
  • Ability to work on-site in Oradell, New Jersey.

Benefits

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Health insurance and comprehensive company-sponsored benefits.
  • Retirement savings plan.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Continuing education and professional development support.
  • Direct mentorship from experienced tax and advisory professionals.
  • Exposure to tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and wealth management.
  • Opportunity to develop direct, long-term relationships with clients.
