About Syngenta

At Syngenta Group, we're a global community of 56,000 innovators across 90 countries, united by a 250-year legacy of agricultural excellence. As the world's most local agricultural technology partner, we create tailor-made solutions that transform farming while protecting our planet, driven by our commitment to innovation, ethics, and integrity. Through our inclusive environment and diverse perspectives, we pioneer breakthrough solutions for farmers, society, and future generations. Join our worldwide teams of agricultural pioneers in creating a more resilient and equitable food system for all.

Recruitment at Syngenta isn't about filling roles — it's about true, end-to-end talent partnering that adds real value to the business. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional recruitment experiences across our organization with a focus on our German-speaking (DACH) region.

Based in Budapest and part of a diverse, high-performing Global and European Talent Acquisition team, you'll work in an empowered environment where you can shape talent strategy and make a genuine impact. Working with colleagues from around the world in our global Talent Acquisition team, you'll be an advisor to the business, leading the recruitment processes, while leveraging modern recruitment technologies and methodologies.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner and advise hiring managers and HR Business Partners — understanding recruitment needs, challenging and guiding decisions, and developing effective strategies for complex hiring.
  • Build trust with senior stakeholders, meeting regularly to strengthen relationships, present hiring data and market intelligence, build your business acumen, and align priorities to influence decisions.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer — creating compelling job ads that showcase our employer value proposition, coaching interviewers on best practice, and collaborating with the wider TA team throughout.
  • Build and nurture diverse talent pipelines with HR Business Partners and leaders — aligned to future workforce planning needs and including active management of critical roles.
  • Drive improvement through global, regional, and local projects on employer branding, recruitment processes, and candidate experience.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies when required.
  • Proven talent acquisition experience across varied specialisms, ideally in a large, global, matrix organization.
  • BA / MSc degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Strategic mindset to understand business objectives across short, mid, and long term — planning, prioritizing, and preventing issues.
  • Exceptional relationship builder and influencer who earns trust with senior stakeholders and navigates complex organizational dynamics.
  • Innovation: drives process improvements and solves problems with bold ideas, using a data-driven approach and market insights.
  • Ability to manage complex, high-volume recruitment while managing stakeholder expectations and prioritizing under pressure.
  • Strong consulting and influencing skills, with the confidence to lead critical conversations at senior levels.
  • Resilience and adaptability: you thrive in a fast-changing environment and help others navigate change.
  • Good IT proficiency, with hands-on experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

What We Offer

  • An environment where every voice matters, professional growth is encouraged, and work-life balance is prioritized.
  • Comprehensive benefits package tailored to your location along with learning and development opportunities, wellness programs, employee assistance programs, and additional benefits in accordance with local practices.
