Job Summary

The Talent Outreach Manager accelerates NetApp’s early‑in‑career hiring strategy by building high‑impact partnerships with top universities and non‑traditional talent sources. In this highly visible role, you serve as a NetApp ambassador—designing data‑driven outreach strategies, leveraging AI‑enabled tools, and delivering programs that strengthen our brand and build diverse candidate pipelines across internships and full‑time early in career roles.

Job Requirements

- Own relationships with career centres, faculty, student organisations, and key campus stakeholders across partner schools in India and APAC
- Develop and execute university recruiting strategies informed by market insight, AI-enabled sourcing, competitive benchmarking, and school performance data
- Build diverse early-in-career pipelines by designing outreach that engages women, underrepresented talent, and high-potential students earlier in their academic journey
- Plan and deliver high-impact campus and virtual events, including career fairs, tech talks, club engagements, interviews, and student programmes
- Create and maintain school scorecards, dashboards, ROI analyses, and brand sentiment insights to continuously refine partnership strategy
- Lead campus ambassador teams, including executive sponsors, alumni, interns, recruiters, and programme partners, to ensure consistent brand presence and execution
- Act as a trusted point of contact for internal stakeholders and external university partners, ensuring smooth collaboration, preparation, event delivery, and follow-up
- Support the planning and execution of NetApp’s apprenticeship programme, ensuring compliance with Indian government regulations; travel as needed for in-person recruiting and relationship development

Education

 

- Previous university or college recruiting experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in planning, project management, and operational execution are essential and will be evaluated during the interview process.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders is important.
- Flexibility to work varied hours based on event and campus schedules is necessary.
- Willingness to travel across India for multiple events throughout the year is expected.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools and data analytics to inform strategy and assess performance.
- Outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for providing an exceptional candidate and partner experience are vital.
