Together, we embody the vision of responsible hospitality.

Take the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster.

Rixos Phu Quoc is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our Housekeeping team. This role plays an important part in maintaining the high presentation standards expected in a luxury resort environment by ensuring all uniforms, linens, and guest garments are professionally maintained and repaired.

The Tailor is responsible for overseeing all hotel tailoring functions, supporting the Laundry and Linen Room operations, and assisting the Laundry & Linen Room Supervisor in completing daily departmental tasks. The role includes mending and repairing staff uniforms, room linen, and food and beverage linen, as well as handling guest laundry items that require alterations or repairs.

You will ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and that garments and linen are returned promptly and in excellent condition. The role also involves repairing guest clothing upon request and ensuring items are delivered back to guests within the agreed timeframe, maintaining the level of service expected at Rixos Phu Quoc.

The Tailor is expected to attend daily briefings with the Linen Room team and remain informed about daily hotel activities while maintaining a strong understanding of the resort’s facilities and services. Maintaining sufficient stock levels of tailoring materials such as threads, buttons, and repair supplies is also an important part of the role.

A clean, organised workspace is essential, and the Tailor will be responsible for ensuring the sewing machine and related equipment are kept in good working condition and properly maintained. The successful candidate will also ensure personal grooming standards are consistently maintained in line with the hotel’s professional appearance guidelines.

We are looking for a candidate with tailoring experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while supporting the wider Housekeeping and Laundry teams.
