Systems Engineer (Linux / Windows)

• Installing and configuring operating systems and common services products.
• Upgrading and patching the operating systems and common services products.
• Perform basic administration and check to ensure system is running as expected in terms of performance and security.  
• Generation of Monthly Reports
• Develop & maintain technical and configurations documentation
• Evaluate and upgrade firewall and network hardware and/or firmware
• Support Level 1 Engineers during problem determination and resolution whenever necessary.
• Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines.
• Willing to do 24 X 7 standby
   

• Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) or Windows Server systems.
• Experience with common services products such as Active Directory/DNS, Splunk, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, BeyondTrust etc. 
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
• Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).
