Requisition Summary:

 

PACCAR India is looking for a skilled Systems Engineer (Diagnostic Calibration Engineer) to join its dynamic team in Pune. The role involves supporting diagnostic calibration, validation, and fault management activities for engine and aftertreatment systems, enabling robust diagnostic performance and compliance across vehicle development programs

Job Function / Responsibilities:

 

  • Support fault management and diagnostic calibration activities for engine and aftertreatment systems.
  • Perform diagnostic validation across HIL, engine, and vehicle test environments.
  • Execute OBD calibration activities and validate electrical signals and diagnostic functionality.
  • Create and maintain test cases to support diagnostic verification and validation activities.
  • Perform fault simulation and diagnostic evaluations using approved technical documentation.
  • Analyse diagnostic and field test data to identify issues and support corrective actions.
  • Prepare calibration reports, validation summaries, and technical recommendations.
  • Support troubleshooting activities during product development and validation phases.
  • Perform IUMPR analysis to assess OBD monitor performance and compliance

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Automobile / Electronics Engineering

 

Required Skills:

Technical / Professional Experience Requirements: 3 to 6 Years

Domain Knowledge: Automotive – Diagnostics and Calibration

Primary Skills: Engine diagnostics, fault management, OBD systems, diagnostic calibration, diagnostic validation, electrical schematics, logic diagrams, fault simulation.

Secondary Skills: Quality Center (ALM-QC), MATLAB/Python Scripting
