Systems Engineer - CT-FNC240528 012/02

We are seeking a skilled RHEL Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our innovative projects. As an RHEL Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. Your expertise in RHEL operations, installation, hardening, upgrade, and patching will be crucial to ensuring the stability and security of our systems. Experience with Azure is a plus and will be advantageous in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• RHEL Operations: Provide comprehensive support for RHEL environments, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability.
• Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain RHEL systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance and security.
• Hardening & Security: Implement and manage security hardening measures for RHEL systems to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
• Upgrades & Patching: Perform system upgrades and apply patches to keep RHEL environments up-to-date and secure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of RHEL systems.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in managing and supporting RHEL environments.
• Strong skills in RHEL installation, hardening, upgrade, and patching.
• Experience with Azure is highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding of RHEL system architecture and administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
