Job Description:
Plans, designs and maintains the radiology system used by all Denver/Boulder local market radiology departments. Maintains and supports a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity. Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance for Radiology Management. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards as they relate to Radiology Management.

Job Description:
Plans, designs and maintains the radiology system used by all Denver/Boulder local market radiology departments. Maintains and supports a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity. Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance for Radiology Management. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards as they relate to Radiology Management.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Implements and maintains radiology system to include tables maintenance and working with information services solve issues and to more efficiently process information.
- Documents system requirements; acts as a liaison between radiology staff, operations and information systems to determine requirements, tables and structure of system.
- Trains radiology staff and other users (as needed) on how to use the system; access data; and create reports.
- Produces reports to support business need of the area.
- Creates Business Objects extracts, SAS extracts, spreadsheet analyses, reporting
- Produces scorecard development, control charting, access databases, business case analyses
- Develops complex and detailed monthly reports as required
- Develops and maintains indicators of department performance and quality measures.
Experience
- Minimum (3) years experience working with Radiology Information Systems.
- Experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, SQL and/or SAS strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, health care, radiology or related area OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- License, Certification, Registration
- Knowledgeable of radiology information systems and personal computer applications.
- Experience working with report writing software such as Crystal Reports.
- Experience with Business Objects extracts, SAS extracts, spreadsheet analyses.
- Experience with reporting, scorecard development, control charting, access databases, business case analyses
- Familiar with PACS Systems, Integration, and Maintenance.
- Familiar with Powerscribe 360 voice recognition software
- Knowledgeable with Database connectivity and Data manipulation principles.
- Knowledgeable with Sharepoint sever.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Operating systems: Server 2003, Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 10.
- Knowledgeable with Unix Operating Systems.
