Position Overview

Responsibilities

• System Testing for the FlashBlade product line.
• Filing and owning related bugs (documenting, debugging, follow-up with Dev teams, reproduce, etc)
• Own and drive features to completion (review requirements, design docs, customer use cases to build test strategies, test cases, and end-to-end workflows in the System Test ecosystem for new and existing features over multiple releases)
• Build up and scale out of complex system test beds and test ecosystems using virtualized environments and various test tools.
• Work on Customer Escalations with cross-functional teams to help identify root causes and provide assistance with reproductions.
• Be a voice for FlashBlade Systems Quality
• Automation of Existing and New Manual Test cases

Qualifications

• Experience in System Testing with ability to create end-to-end test ecosystems from the ground up and maintain it over time.  Understand the nature of a workflow vs a functional test.

• Highly skilled in building out and working with Virtualized environments (ESX, KVM, Hyper-V)

• Knowledge of flash storage, file systems/protocols:  Flash media, Read/Write IOPs, IO datapath, NFS, SMB, S3, and networking layers (full stack QA)

• Ability to deploy and use 3rd party tools like Load Dynamix to simulate IO test workloads

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with application ecosystems (e.g. netbackup, veeam) and directory services (e.g. ldap, ad) and related OS environments (Windows and Linux)

• Platform QA - cable/optics qualification against various switch vendors, flash and component qualification

• Comfortable with Linux (ability to script and automate)

• Team player, excellent communication skills, with strong multitasking ability

• Excellent problem solver

• 5+ years relevant work experience

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
