Therefore, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit System Operators to join a dynamic team. 

The client:  

A leading generator and supplier of electricity in Greece and in other European countries. 

Responsibilities: 

• Operating, configuring, and monitoring information systems. 
• Starting up and shutting down system operations. 
• Monitoring systems for malfunctions or unusual operations. 
• Collaborating with information systems developers to ensure their normal operation. 
• Monitoring and controlling the operation of hardware and software. 
• Ensuring the upgrade of applications on user systems. 
• Customizing applications and ensuring their proper functioning according to organizational needs. 
• Managing user access rights to applications. 
• Managing data related to applications and ensuring proper storage, retrieval, and deletion. 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Previous experience in operating and maintaining equipment in the utilities industry preferred 
• Solid understanding of utilities systems and processes 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and resources 
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities 
• Excellent knowledge of english and greek language
