System Analyst

Pay Range: $27.24 to $40.86 
Shift: Daytime

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Kwik Trip’s Network Services Department has an opening for a System Administrator

What you’ll be doing… 

As a System Administrator, you will work independently as well as on a team to provide operational support of Kwik Trip’s systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with implementation and support of server and application environments.
• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of upgrades, migrations, conversions, and implementations
• Manage and administer security updates
• Utilize Kwik Trip’s incident, problem, and change management tools to manage ITIL processes
• Serve as the Team’s escalation point, providing initial triage of incidents and requests

You’ll need to have: 

• Associate degree in Information Systems/Network Systems Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience related to server and infrastructure management, with specific focus on the setup and maintenance of servers and applications within a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems
• Experience with Office 365 administration (including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Group Policy management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Ability to multi-task and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
• Ability to meet project and department deadlines

Even better if you have:

• Knowledge or experience with Linux server operating systems
• Knowledge or experience with Ansible and/or other automation tools
• Knowledge or experience with incident management platforms (e.g., Service Now or Jira)
• VMware enterprise virtualization products

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with rotating on-call responsibilities. Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed. This position requires a 50% onsite/remote hybrid schedule.
