Job description

The System Administration Consultant delivers implementation and ongoing managed services, education on best practices, and other billable professional offerings to new and existing customers within the defined scope of the Admin Pro services. The role partners with customers to configure MeridianLink products, provide consultative guidance on system configuration and process design, and ensure solutions align with established business workflows and operational objectives.

This position supports Admin Pro customers through ongoing system administration, advisory engagement, and relationship management. The consultant identifies optimization opportunities, gathers and translates business requirements, and applies established tools and methodologies to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes. The role independently performs work of moderate complexity while collaborating with senior consultants on higher‑complexity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of MeridianLink licensed software to support customer education on best practices and effective system usage.

  • Configure and administer MeridianLink licensed software for new and existing customers, including ongoing managed services for Admin Pro clients.

  • Conduct system reviews to identify optimization and efficiency opportunities and recommend solutions aligned with best practices and defined service scope.

  • Lead advisory sessions and customer interviews to assess workflows, document pain points, and provide consultative recommendations.

  • Elicit, document, and validate business, core mapping, third‑party integration, and API requirements to support customer configurations and updates.

  • Manage ongoing relationships with Admin Pro customers, including dashboard management, proactive communication, and regular customer meetings.

  • Translate customer requirements into system updates while adhering to established service level agreement standards, delivery standards, and methodologies.

  • Organize and prioritize work to maximize productivity, resource utilization, and on‑time delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Utilize department‑developed tools and standards to produce client deliverables and present results and recommendations using a consultative approach.

  • Identify potential risks and issues early, support timely resolution, and communicate relevant product feedback and improvement opportunities.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvement, and service innovation initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support project execution, manage expectations, and deliver a high level of proactive and responsive client service.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This position independently performs work of moderate complexity and impact while supporting senior consultants and management on more complex initiatives. The role applies established policies, procedures, and professional judgment to address a variety of customer and project scenarios.

  • Ability to determine appropriate courses of action within defined guidelines and adapt processes as needed.

  • Ability to exercise judgment within established procedures and practices to resolve moderately complex issues.

  • Ability to build and maintain productive internal and external working relationships.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • 2–4 years of experience with loan origination or account origination systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and service‑oriented approach.

  • Effective presentation skills, including comfort presenting to remote audiences.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.

Compensation (from employer):
$69,840 – $101,100
