Swine Finishing Service Personnel

Prestage Farms is seeking a Swine Finishing Service Personnel to serve as the liaison between Prestage Farms and Contract Growers of finishing sites. They will provide technical assistance for the maximum efficient production of pigs and serve as an advisor on matters from herd health to personnel management.

Requirements

• All applicants will be required to submit to a criminal records search and a pre-employment drug screen
• The employee will be required to follow all company policies and safety rules
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must live near Bladen County where you will be servicing farms
• This job requires some night and weekend work

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Visit finishing sites weekly
• Ensure maximum productivity of each finishing unit
• Will serve as the liaison between Prestage Farms and the Contract Grower of each finishing site
• Responsible for checking each site for health, mortality, managing schedules for hogs coming in and going out
