Job Description

  • Lead and transform bancassurance into a core, scalable growth engine for the wealth business

  • Evolve insurance from a transactional product line into a customer‑led, distribution‑driven, and commercially scalable business across mass, emerging affluent, and affluent segments

  • Own end‑to‑end commercialisation of bancassurance, from strategy and proposition design through go‑to‑market, scale, and sustained performance

  • Set clear commercial direction for bancassurance, translating wealth strategy into measurable growth, profitability, and partnership outcomes

  • Act as the single point of accountability for insurance partnership value creation

  • Own and deepen strategic partnerships through joint business planning, governance, and commercial negotiations

  • Ensure partnerships evolve beyond product supply into integrated, long‑term growth platforms

  • Design and deliver segment‑led insurance propositions embedded within broader wealth journeys alongside deposits and investments

  • Build and manage a balanced insurance portfolio across protection, accumulation, and legacy solutions

  • Ensure propositions are customer‑relevant, differentiated, and commercially viable

  • Drive end‑to‑end commercialisation from launch to scaled, repeatable sales performance

  • Build scalable go‑to‑market models across branches, relationship managers, and specialist advisory channels

  • Establish repeatable commercial engines (campaigns, triggers, cross‑sell motions) and continuously optimise conversion, productivity, and persistency

  • Lead bancassurance advisory specialists and managers, embedding insurance expertise into frontline sales through a two‑tier advisory model

  • Uplift frontline capability through structured, customer‑journey‑led and trigger‑based conversations

  • Drive shared accountability across sales, specialists, and product teams via clear commercial KPIs

  • Shape the banca insurance product roadmap with partners, balancing customer value, commercial outcomes, profitability, and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure strong governance across sales practices, advisory quality, suitability, and compliance

  • Track and manage key metrics including revenue growth, penetration, conversion, productivity, persistency, and partnership value

  • Accountable for bancassurance revenue growth and contribution to overall wealth P&L

Job Requirements

  • 15 - 18 years of experience in senior commercial, growth, or business leadership roles

  • Proven end‑to‑end commercialisation experience, from strategy through execution, scale‑up, and performance optimisation

  • Demonstrated success building scalable, repeatable revenue engines rather than campaign‑led or transactional models

  • Background from financial services, insurance, or wealth management or consumer‑driven industries such as Telco or FMCG

  • Candidates from Telco or FMCG must demonstrate experience leading large‑scale commercial transformations, embedding propositions into customer journeys, and operating distribution‑led growth models

  • Strong experience managing complex B2B or B2B2C partnerships, joint business planning, and commercial negotiations

  • Customer‑centric and segment‑driven mindset, with ability to translate insights into propositions, pricing, packaging, and go‑to‑market strategies

  • Proven capability to drive frontline execution at scale through influence, operating models, incentives, and enablement

  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership or significant revenue accountability

  • Experience in regulated environments is an advantage but not mandatory

  • Commercially driven leader with strong ownership mindset, high influence, and builder mentality focused on scalable systems over day‑to‑day sales or product management
