<div style="text-align: justify"><strong><u>Teaching Responsibilities</u></strong></div><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><div style="text-align: justify">Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Maintain records of student attendance and progress</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Provide consistent and appropriate time spent at each clinical facility</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Understand policy for reporting accidents and completing incident reports</div></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify"><strong><u>Instructional Development</u></strong></div><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><div style="text-align: justify">Develop clinical rotation schedules</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Complete clinical evaluations per student for each clinical rotation. Written evaluation to be based on evaluating student from start to finish of a surgical procedure performed at a clinical site.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Input case information onto case summary spread sheet</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Review all clinical documentation each week and provide student feedback in a timely manner.</div></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify"><strong><u>Professional Development</u></strong></div><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><div style="text-align: justify">Attend relevant professional meetings</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local,state, and national levels.</div></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify">Diploma in Surgical Technology. National Surgical Technology Certification required.</div><div style="text-align: justify">Minimum of two years’ experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.</div><div style="text-align: justify">The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks to be the first choice for higher education in South Carolina’s Low Country Region.
