About the role

The Supply Planning Lead drives accurate end‑to‑end supply planning, ensuring strong alignment across procurement, manufacturing, and commercial teams. The role oversees inventory performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement while leading the planning team.

Key responsibilities

  • The Supply Planner is responsible for the area of Supply Planning within the Supply Chain function atplant level, including:
  • Responsible for the leadership and management of the Supply Planning team, as the expert on supply planning toinfluence team members in & outside of supply chain function fostering a high performing collaborative team and
    efficient work environment.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the Supply Planner responsibilities as per below;
  • Responsible for utilizing the commercial depletion demand signal, on-hand inventory, and inventory targetswith DC replenishment requirements. Enable & deliver a comprehensive network supply plan within SAP
    which meet all financial requirements, operational capabilities, and service objectives including OTIF.
  • Communicate and interact with demand planners, customer management, supply planners, sales, and financeto provide distributor and replenishment plans and exception-based reporting for assigned BU (Customer PSI
    and predictive OTIF reports). Make recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted
    demand.
  • Responsible for reviewing that the system generated planned order generations align and are correctlyconverted to process orders within downstream PPDS process.
  • Responsible for generating supply plans and dispatching materials to our third party manufactures to ensureservice to our customers.
  • Responsible for managing aging finished goods as part of Kerry’s inventory control tower process andpartners with commercial, demand planning, and senior supply chain stakeholders to reduce risk and prevent
    reoccurrence.
  • Review MTO/ATO demand vs MTS demand within the master production schedule to ensure a balancedachievable plan is generated.
  • Provide leadership to monitor and improve key metrics. i.e., on-time delivery, inventory efficiency. Responsible forthe lean initiatives from a planning perspective to ensure the broad goal of overall supply chain is benefiting from
    the improvements.
  • Build and maintain communication channels among all operational groups within the Supply Chain throughinformation sharing, thought leadership, and tactical and strategic planning.

Qualifications and skills

  • Typically, 7+ years in supply chain or planning roles, with exposure to FMCG or food industry environments.
  • Proven track record in managing supply planning processes, inventory performance, and S&OP/S&OE governance.
  • Experience in leading teams and driving process improvements in a centralized or regional planning model.
  • Familiarity with global supply chain operations and multi-site coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/data analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of planning principles, KPI frameworks, and operational excellence methodologies.
