Job Description

  • Plans and coordinates end-to-end supply chain planning with S&OP knowledge, including when goods should be produced and in what quantity, while optimizing the balance between customer delivery requirements and inventory levels.
  • Interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Production, R&D, Finance, Materials, Logistics, Service Part Organization, Customer Service and contract manufacturers (CM) and original design manufacturers (ODM) to compile, develop, validate and communicate production/constrained supply plans with scenario trade-off planning and associated strategies that support overall business objectives.
  • Uses enterprise resource planning (ERP) system(s) with global inventory planning guideline for processes such as inventory tracking, supplier scheduling, process and workflow management, etc.
  • Establishes and manages relationships with suppliers/partners.
  • May be responsible for coordinating new product introduction (NPI), product transfer and new supply chain setup including assuring materials, labor and test capacity are in place to meet volume production.
  • May have global or multi-site inventory management responsibilities.
  • May partner with Sales and Marketing to develop factory support processes via S&OE forums for indirect channels and worldwide customer escalations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent. Business, Economics or Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 6+ years relevant experience. Experience in key supply chain functions including material requirements, master production schedules, production planning, manufacturing, inbound and outbound logistics, and distribution preferred
  • Proficient in data mining and analytics with tools including excel, power query, power BI or Python, with pay attention to details to detect business exceptions.
  • Ability to multitask, understand the priority and to make recommendations to management based on knowledge and judgment.
  • Excellent communications skills to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
