Supply Planning and Operations Manager - Youfoodz

Job Description

As the Supply Planning & Optimisation Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring Youfoodz consistently meets customer demand through highly accurate planning, scheduling, inventory management, and capacity modelling. This leadership position is central to our mission, bridging the gap between commercial demand and factory execution to ensure our fulfillment teams have exactly what they need to deliver on time, every time.

 

This role is based in Karawatha and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

 

You will…

• Own the end-to-end demand planning and production scheduling process for all B2B and B2C channels, partnering closely with Retail Sales and B2C commercial teams.
• Drive Delivered In Full (DIF) metrics, guaranteeing that Pick & Pack, Line Haul, and DCs receive the exact volumes required.
• Optimise inventory holding levels for finished goods and WIP food while minimising waste and obsolescence.
• Lead short, medium, and long-term capacity planning in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Partner with Manufacturing Leads to drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and optimise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Act as the primary Operations representative and SME for major retail customers, managing retailer shelf-life expectations and DIFOT.
• Lead the transition from S&OP to a mature, data-driven IBP model, facilitating cross-functional alignment.
• Lead, coach, and evolve a team of 4 direct reports, driving transformation through automation and analytical problem-solving.

 

You have…

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, production scheduling, or S&OP/IBP roles within an FMCG/food manufacturing environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering; APICS certification is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in planning systems and data/AI tools, with the ability to lead system development and automation.
• Proven capacity planning experience including OEE, labour modelling, and production sequencing.

Start Date: Immediately available

Duration: Permanent full time role. Must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
