JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Supervise a team of professionals to ensure adequate stock to meet forecast sales demands and to ensure an agreed level of customer service.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads/supervises a team of 2 or more professionals; first level manager of a work team that could comprise professionals, technical and/or administrative staff.

• Typically without budget or hire/fire authority.

• Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.

• Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation’s supply chain.

• Activities may include analysis, planning and forecasting in the areas of production, materials handling, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation and distribution.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Associates Degree (± 13 years)

Experience / Background

Minimum 4 years
