Supply Chain Specialist

• Convert the PR to PO timely in SAP every day

• Closely follow up the PO delivery, expediting the production with vendors if the delivery schedule could not meet customer’s requirement

• Referring to the urgent materials requested by plant or sales, communicate with vender by email or phone in time to get the best shipment date in time. Follow the order which could not be shipped as schedule until it has been solved.

• Analyze the SO backlog, expediting the pastdue orders and key materials to improve the OTD, reduce the SO pastdue value and SO lines which are with insufficient stock

• EDI orders management, Freight in and inventory control requested by KPI.

• Completely take charge of customer service support for Cytiva business including sales order and purchasing order fulfilment to make sure keeping customer loyalty after Pall LS/PI splitting. During daily work,  closely working with global IT to continuously improve process efficiency.

• In the commercial support view, besides acting as customer service role, also acting as supply chain specialist role to take charge of relative oversea MFG plant/DC. Meanwhile, to meet KPI requirement from freight optimization and inventory reduction based on solid English, SAP skills and professional international purchasing knowledge.

• In the view of manufacturing plant support, this role will work closely with MFG plants/DP team to obtain more supply opportunity for China & Hongkong customers and Beijing manufacturing plants as well to accelerate the business growth.

• Based on daily operation in supply chain, continuously working on process enhancement. For example, due to uncertain factors such as tariffs, this position requires cooperation in exploring new business models, including processing trade, to help manufacturing plants to realize tariff saving,  coordinating with suppliers to optimize international logistics operation processes to save shipping cost.
