Job Description
We are looking for skilled, educated, trained and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our rapidly expanding team.

The SCM should be energetic and thrive in an environment that values teamwork, results and creativity. The SCM will be responsible for negotiating contracts for multiple strategic commodities, including, but not limited to Memory, CPUs, HDDs, SSDs and various PCIe Cards. In addition, this position will establish an internal NPI Purchasing process to better streamline New Product requests. This position will work closely with Hardware Engineering, Product Management and Suppliers on all products from inception to end of service.


Responsibilities:

• Implement a repeatable/scalable NPI Purchasing Process
• Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with Product Management and HW Engineering team to understand commodity roadmaps for current and future production requirements
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships at a senior and working level to create competitive advantage
• Responsible for negotiating cost which directly affects the company’s gross margins
• Develop and Execute Supply Chain Risk Assessment and mitigation strategies
• Create long term strategy to develop and implement a world class class supply chain
• Drive Quarterly Roadmap Reviews and Business Reviews with key suppliers
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with commodity manufacturers
• Ability to lead complex projects, implement rapid solutions and work successfully across all functional areas to exceed corporate objectives while concentrating on continuity of supply, driving cost out of the supply chain and leading supplier selection
• Develop sourcing plans and strategies for key commodities to secure appropriate supply, ensure quality, reduce risks of stock outs, minimize inventory and reduce costs; Develop contingency plans and second source plans, as required.
• Management of component life cycle, multi-sourcing and BOM reuse

Desired Skills and Experience

• Good communications skills
• 7+ years experience in high tech supply chain management or materials management
• Demonstrated experience working with Manufacturers
• Contract and supply agreement negotiation
• Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes
• Well-organized; able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision
• Prior start up environment experience desired.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Netsuite preferred), MS Office (Excel & Powerpoint)
