Acutronic is looking for a Supply Chain Management Intern to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and data analysis. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, detail oriented, and currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management.

Supply Chain Management Intern

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

Procurement: Review and expedite purchase orders, prioritizing based on production demands and lead times Update due dates, promise dates, and report out changes Supply Chain Coordination: Assist with supply chain coordination activities with engineering, program management, and operations Participate in necessary meetings, identify and develop performance reports for review with the team Inventory & Warehouse Management: Conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies, documenting variances Analyze and report on inventory levels, including slow-moving and excess stock, using ERP systems or other databases Assist in developing an implementing inventory optimization strategies Assist in kitting, material transactions, and shipping activities Process and KPI Improvement Collect and Analyze data to identify areas of improvement in processes and key metrics

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with supply chain software is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
