Apply to this jobResponsible for optimizing business processes within the supply chain department and across cross-functional teams. The Supply Chain Engineer will develop, design, and implement the company's supply chain management processes, continuously improving them through auditing and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves leading teams and directly communicating to drive improvement programs focused on supply chain design, inventory control, cost reduction, and lead-time reduction.
- Update and optimize existing supply chain management processes by collaborating with relevant process owners.
- Conduct regular process reviews to identify and implement improvements.
- Develop and implement new processes, such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring alignment with the overall supply chain strategy and objectives.
- Lead and manage strategic projects aimed at achieving Supply Chain Excellence.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Design and deploy improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Drive Cycle Time Reduction (CTR) and support Cost Price Reduction (CPR) initiatives for key products.
- Ensure the accuracy of CPR and CTR data through reliable data management systems.
- Analyze supply chain operations and propose improvement activities based on concepts such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Kanban.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Strong understanding of production processes and business process analysis.
- Familiar with ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Effective communication skills with all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changes.
- Independent, responsible, and a collaborative team player.
