We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

Supply Chain Coordinators (SCCs) play a key role in the procurement and flow of scrap material for Kaiser Warrick. They are the link between the buying team and supply base. SCCs interact with buyers, suppliers, operations and transportation to maintain adequate supply to Kaiser Warrick. This position requires strong decision-making skills and attention to details to effectively meet monthly targets.

What you will be doing:

  • Purchase Order creation and maintenance including pricing and payments to suppliers
  • Coordinating with Supply Chain Team to direct scrap metal
  • Working with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Quick problem solving for supplier and delivery related issues
  • Tracking order volumes
  • Provide accurate documentation for audits
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by manager

What you will bring:

To be successful in this role and to play a part in our ongoing success we desire the following background:

  • B.S. Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel skills – intermediate level or above
  • SAP experience is preferred but not required
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in teams or individually
