Description

Apple is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer, Equipment to lead quality and reliability management of highly customized, complex manufacturing equipment across a global supplier network. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to uphold rigorous quality standards and drive continuous improvements that directly shape high-volume manufacturing performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
Hands-on experience with custom-built or purpose-built automation equipment (e.g., robots, vision systems, precision measurement tools) in high-volume manufacturing environments
Experience reviewing equipment specifications and executing quality validation processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment and operate independently under pressure
Ability to travel frequently to domestic and international supplier sites

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in ambiguous, fast-changing project environments
Experience facilitating cross-functional discussions and driving resolution of technical or operational issues across internal teams and external suppliers
Quality management experience in customized manufacturing or equipment supply chains
Experience in massive data analysis, coding and machine learning would be a plus
Experience of leveraging AI or emerging technologies to enhance work efficiency and quality processes
Mandarin language skills are a plus
